Hi, mijn Nederlands is niet zo goed (lezen is beter), ik schrijf beter in het Engels.

If you have a look (towards the German border) from the platform at the new train stop at Hergenrath, you can see (a few meters on German territory) the first German distance signal (Vorsignal). The beacons are on Belgian grounds. There is no Indusi equipment at the distance signal but a Belgian "krokodil". Close to the platform is another krokodil (on Belgian grounds) and attached to one of the catenary poles a board labeled "REMPROEF" (in three languages). Almost in the middle between the krokodillen are 4 balises.

To my knowledge currently only the ICE International, the Thalys and some NMBS class AM62 EMUs ride on this line. Can anybody explain in detail how the transition for these three vehicles works? And: can this also be negotiated by any NMBS class 28 or 29 locomotive?
