Hi there! I hope you don’t mind English on your Forum as I only speak a little Flemmish, even though I am half Dutch as my mother comes from Heerlen.. I have visited the area of Zuid Limburg many times and enjoy visiting the ZLSM at Simpelveld in Nederland.
I hope someone can understand. I hope I have put my message in the correct area of your forum
Mijn naam is Cliff.

Hier is mijn Website.

We have members from all over Britain and Ireland, also from the USA, Canada & Italy. Everybody is Welcome to join. My name on this forum is LSWR. I would be very interested to find out more about Belgium & Dutch railways so please do reply.
Many Regards again from Great Britain,

This is why you shouldn't use automatic translators.
I'll have a look at the forum though. Where are you from exactly? I've been to that area quite often. i've got a friend in Liphook.
It's easier to just do this in English. I'm sure most people will understand, and the ones interested in your forum will have to talk English as well, won't they?THUMPER schreef:Ik ben een grote Ventilator van het Spoor

Heerlen, that's the Netherlands
I don't think many will bother if it's in English, en als iemand het niet begrijpt, moet-ie maar een vertaler vragen...
The most important vintage railways in Belgium are SCM, the Steam Centre in Maldegem (http://www.stoomcentrum.be), who operate a little line between Eeklo and Maldegem, and a narrow gauge line between Maldegem and Donk and the CFV3V between Mariembourg and Treignes. Main organisation is the bilingual TSP/PFT (http://www.pfttsp.be), other smaller organisations are Kolenspoor in Limburg, the PFT who operate the Bocq Railway, the BVS (Dendermonde-Puurs), and perhaps I forget some... The Vennbahn has gone, unfortunately...

Here is a MAP of where Frimley is in the top right, Liphook is just off the bottom of the map, about 30km from me. That is close to the sight of the old Longmoor Military Railway - http://www.irsociety.co.uk/Archives/9/longmoor.htm
I look forward to taking more activity in your forum and I hope some of you will regester with our forum.
Oh thanks for the links to your heritage railways, I will have a look at them
