New T18s out this week

New 1831 worked Wednesday 15th February 2012 and 1829 worked today, 16th February 2012.

1864 has worked her first passenger train on Thursday 16th February 2012.

The test train runs between Brussel and Liège on Line 2 to test the new T18. Usually one new locomotive is at one end of the train and another new one at the other. The train is formed of a rake of I11 coaches.

The Type 18s are brought from Wildenrath to Aachen and then to Liège Kinkempois. They have a number of checks performed on them inside the depot. Usually two T18s then go on a test run down Line 43 and then to Arlon, Athus, Namur and back to Kinkempois. The T18s then go onto the test train before being released to service.

1871 was working ICO today, 21st March 2012.

Also 1872 and 1873 are reported on HGBTF at Schaarbeek, I assume for the Line 2 Test Train.

1869 reed deze morgen lekker vlug voorbij het station van Brugge. Toen ik aankwam in Oostende stond hij in daar geparkeerd.

Possibly the stock from ICO 477 going to Oostende for Servicing.

1866 was also working today, another new locomotive noted for the first time.
