Gisteren (12/04/2014) zag ik de 2820 met staalrollen richting Brussel en de 2827 met Citroens en Peugeots richting Frankrijk. De 2820 was een beetje een verrassing.

2842 has gone on hire to NS.

NS are currently having some nineteen new 186.0s built. It is unlikely that all will be in service for the 14th December 2014 when the new internal services will start using the High Speed Line. In addition to the six hired in from Macquarie Rail [186 142, 186 144, 186 148, 186 149, 186 236 & 186 239], it would appear NS are hiring in from NMBS as well.

It has been reported on SOMDA that 186.017 is being transported to Schaarbeek. 186.017 is fitted with Software Version 9 and it is assumed the locomotive is in Belgium for testing this version of the TRAXX software on Belgian tracks.

Software Version 9 may become the standard version for most Class 186/HLE 28 TRAXX locomotives.

2862 has gone away to the old Talbot Works in Aachen for Revision.

In it's place, Railpool have sent 186.424. The locomotive has been stripped of its old viynls and is running in plain Railpool livery. 186.424 is running as this and is not expected to become 2863.

The hire of 186.424 is temporary whilst 2862 is away.

It turns out that 186.181 [ex-2862] has been shopped from Talbot today and is now going to work for HSL. 186.424 will remain with B-Technics for the foreseeable future and hasbecome 2863.
