De meest gebruikte rail op hoofspoor in België is de standaard 60E1, enkele oudere stukken zijn nog 50E2. Daarnaast wordt het ook gebruikt voor bundels en zijsporen.
Maar 50E2 is ook gewoon een Europese standaard hoor.
